I started this blog to help me remember that there are always good things in life. I’d been feeling a bit down, but on October 12, 2008 I was struggling to name one good thing about life even though a million wonderful things surrounded me.That is when I decided I needed to try to concentrate on the positive.
My goal is to post about things I love. No rules for defining “love”. It may be deep love for friends and family or something as trivial as loving a new flavor of gum. One subject I post about often is food. I love cooking. I also post photos a lot, in fact this is becoming more of a photo blog as time goes by.
I might occasionally write about other things as well and not keep the "love" theme for every entry. I'm trying to get back into the habit again and hope to be posting more often.
Note about site banner: The dogs in the banner are my Mr. Billy, Sam, and Ally. Sadly, Sam is no longer with us after battling liver disease (January 2009). We miss you, Pimp Dawg.

I'm excited to go to this exhibit. Wish it were opening sooner.
